Another Rat leaving a sinking ship. These guys are doing this in order to evade responsibility. This is in line with the same anti-social, irresponsible behavior reflected in the passage of retroactive laws that are an attempt to absolve corrupt officials from accountability, like Bush's recent maneuvers regarding wiretapping. The way Bush intervened in Libby's situation comes to mind too.

But let's not let another snake slither off into the grass after having done his evil work.

What about the Subpoena? Could it be that being out of the "King's" court (we don't need a King.. this is America) makes him susceptible?
