Dear Sir,
The solution is right in front of us: the Sun.
We can rally the efforts of our nation in the creation of a smart energy infrastructure based on solar-generated electricity and hydrogen batteries.
It would put the country back to work.
It would make grabbing the Caspian Region unnecessary.
It would help us prevent the melting of Antarctica and Greenland and the resultant flooding of our largely littoral civilizations.
Please be the first President to not just go with the flow, and give us some meaningful policy change.
Use the Sun!

Another thing I could have added was the fact that we don't have to buy the Sun from anyone (this is why nobody in the commercial media is talking intelligently about it).
