When Dr. Martin Luther King was murdered in 1968, Close family friend and supporter Harry Belafonte encouraged the late Reverend's wife Coretta to be strong and to continue the struggle. When Coretta King died, Harry Belafonte naturally was scheduled to speak at her funeral.
This was until George W. Bush decided to attend.
Some things are sacred.
