It is represented by a misled sect of suckers who have let con-men pervert whatever faith and hope they might have once had into a morbid longing for a global human die-off referred to as "End-Times".

I say this to such fools: Keep your Armageddon to yourself. I say this to any public official who might subscribe to this morbidity: please resign. We don't need your death-wish infecting our civilization.

You cannot deny that Americans were left to die in New Orleans while the president played guitar, while the Vice President shopped for a house, while the secretary of state saw a Broadway show and shopped for expensive shoes. You cannot deny that truckloads of vital fuel and water were turned away from a city that desperately needed it.

You cannot deny that we have illegally invaded and destroyed another country.

You cannot deny that our Constitutional system of government is being undermined (an impeachable high crime) by the highest officials in the executive branch.

You cannot deny these things, unless you are a coward.

If you ask people why they don’t participate in their government, many will tell you it is because they think the system is a sham, a lie. A joke. They will tell you that they believe politicians are crooks and that money and greed are the real drivers of national affairs.

Much of this cynicism comes from the suspicion that the people in charge aren’t playing by the rules. The rules for our system of government were established after careful (and often heated) debate when the Constitution went into effect in 1789. Since then, many of these rules, in fact, have been and are being, broken.
