What do Al Franken, Bill Bradley, Russ Feingold, Jim Hightower, Robert Reich, Robert Redford, Peter Yarrow and Walter Mondale have in common? They are all founding members of Wellstone Action.

Wellstone Action, created by the surviving sons of the late Senator Paul Wellstone (a former college professor who pioneered modern grassroots organizing and outreach), is dedicated to training political organizers and future candidates who believe in living wages, fair taxes, affordable health care, protecting the environment, retirement security, civil rights and preventing domestic violence.

If you're serious about taking our republic back from the corporate aristocracy, about returning our republic to the principle of rule by the people and not rule by the lobbyists; if you're determined to help return our marketplace to a situation of fair commerce instead of the current system of corrupt cronyist cheating and stealing (how else can you explain the Monopolized "Mainstream" Media, Halliburton, Enron, Worldcomm and their Ilk); If you're serious about making a difference, involvement with Wellstone Action should be one of your tools.

Senator Paul Wellstone, an outspoken critic of the Bush Administration's planned upcoming invasion of Iraq, would have done a lot more for us, the citizens of the constitutional republic known as the United States of America, had he, his wife and daughter (along with five other people) not been killed in December, 2002.
